Future of Work

Work as we know it is dead

The Future of Work before it was...the future. A few years ago (pre-COVID pandemic) FMM was tasked to create a keynote video for best-selling author Jacob Morgan at SAP’s SAPPHIRENOW conference. Jacob envisioned the future of the workforce 10-15 years out and we helped tell his insight-driven story, starting with the script.

In order to depict what the future of work might look like, we took to SAP’s Manhattan office and brought the vision to life with a combination of real footage and green screens. Within one (very long) day we captured multiple work scenarios using vignettes that were set up and taken down in record speed. The shoot included roughly 40 hired actors, wardrobe, makeup, props, stylists and although we do not recommend this timeline, we got it done.

Special effects show Jacob interacting with a giant computer wall, associates sharing information in seconds, and AI-fueled work environments. Everything you see here was a visual of Jacob’s brain and touched on all the talking points of his keynote. You’ll even notice a domino effect that was extra tricky to execute but all in all, an engaging part of the video.

FMM is particularly proud of this video not only because of all the hard work that went into executing this one day shoot, but the motion graphics and special effects that realistically depicted a future no one has seen before. Our team of producers will partner closely with content owners to ensure your story is compelling, sophisticated and on-brand with your mission critical priorities.
